Hannah Bone, Lenny Cornforth and Alistair Erskine all find inspiration in the local South Hams beaches found along the South West Coast path. Lenny paints striking aerial views, Alistair captures classic beach scenes, and contemporary landscape artist Hannah is exhibiting a selection of new works inspired by the coastline.
Teresa Pemberton and Jo Vollers both employ a vibrant palette and their loose, expressive paintings are wonderfully uplifting. By contrast, watercolourist David Norman uses more muted tones to depict seaside scenes and boats, while Mark Fielding's abstract paintings explore the ever-changing play of light on water.
Last but not least, much-loved Plymouth artist Carolyn King is exhibiting some new humorous pieces featuring people at leisure.
