Our pop-up gallery is a unique space within the gallery that is available for hire by aspiring artists, offering an opportunity to showcase their work and curate their own exhibitions within one of the South West’s most prominent galleries.
Artists will benefit from the use of the gallery’s main window, providing a high-visibility display space in the thriving market town of Modbury which attracts a strong footfall and local interest.
In addition, each exhibition will be supported through promotion across the gallery’s established social media channels and regular newsletters, helping to reach a wide and engaged audience.

I am drawn to pattern, shape and colour found in everyday objects and my surroundings.
I usually start with a doodle or a more detailed drawing. This will then develop and change many times as I paint.
The final paintings often have many layers which helps produce a textured surface.
In printmaking I love the process of linocutting. A slower and more controlled method.
I combine painted backgounds with linocuts to produce often quite unplanned results.
