"My work is fuelled by an emotional response to place, to memory, and elements found in the natural world. Life and art are interwoven. Echoes from the past, clouded by time, awakened, half remembered, finding freedom to roam over the canvas. Colour excites me, used intuitively with shape and texture. I enjoy the sense of discovery, concealing and revealing the imagery within the paint. The sea is close by and always an inspiration."
Zoe was born into an artistic family in North Cornwall. She has a Fine Art degree which included two residences at the Cyprus College of Art.
Her work is held in collections across the UK, France, Spain and America. She has exhibited internationally as well as the UK including the RWA and Grand Designs. She has received a sponsorship from The Arts Council England and is represented in America.
Zoe currently lives and works in North Devon, with her family.
