Charles Jamieson is essentially a Scottish Colourist. For the past forty years he has travelled extensively painting wonderful landscapes from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, from New England to South Africa, immersing himself in the local colour and way of life, producing a vast portfolio of sketches and drawings which he later turns into paintings back in his studio in Ayrshire, Scotland.
