Konrad Bartelski b. 1954

This collection is Konrad's  personally documented images from expeditions to the seven continents: Antarctic, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North and South America.

Konrad Bartelski's pasion for capturing his world on camara began when he was a ypng skier and he woud take to the slpes with his first SLR camara. He skies from the age of 3 and at 13 years oldf made his debut copeting in teh FIS Ski World Cup race. Then in 1972 he raced his first of his 3 Olympic Winter Games in Sapporio, Japan . 

He has undertaken many expeditions to the remote and extreme corners of the world, the Norwegian Artic, Antartica , climbed vocanoes in Iceland and North America, as well as exploring the uncharted slopes of Kyrgyzstan, the back-country in the Alps, Kasmir, Japan and Patagonia.  It is in theses sensitive  areas that have enabled him  to explore the areas of the earth where the perspective and scale of the winter geography is captured at its purist. As both skiier and a photographer, Konrad combines his two  passions , skiing and capturing the majestc snowy landscapes all around the world.
