Tracy Hamer graduated from Syracuse University, receiving a BFA in Painting. She went on to study painting and printmaking in Florence, Italy. After living in NYC and traveling extensively around South East Asia, she eventually settled into her current home in Bali, Indonesia.

Tracy's art is mostly figurative, often employing themes of nostalgia from the 50s and 60s, using retro imagery to depict subjects in stylistic poses, classic bikinis, and sun-soaked holiday vibes.

Traveling and collecting books and vintage magazines provides continuous inspiration for a body of work that spans two decades and includes exhibitions from Bali to Bangkok, Singapore, and galleries across the US and UK. Tracy’s images have also been featured in popular TV shows like the BBC's The Outlaws and displayed in international hotels, including the W Hotel in Bali.
